Dangers of Cardiovascular Disease, Avoid with cardiovascular training (Cardiovascular Technology Program)

Diet and exercise are important for good health, but can be a more complicated implementation, but a new study reminds us of the importance of these two elements.

People who are on a healthy and correct diet, but if they do not exercise, they are still at high risk of cardiovascular disease, even at the same risk as people who are overweight.

This study uses data from a national health and nutrition examination survey focusing on people aged 40 to 79 years. The researchers divided the data into two categories, namely comparing people with a healthy body mass index and people who had an overweight Body Mass Index (BMI). Then they assessed cardiovascular risk from both groups.

The researchers focused on people who had a healthy BMI, but who had characteristics that were more likely to have cardiovascular risk, namely unhealthy sagittal stomach diameter, shortness of breath after activity, and rarely exercising. The researcher adjusted the data with other factors, namely age, race, and gender.

After the data was calculated, they found that people with healthy BMI, but who were inactive or rarely exercised, showed almost the same risk for cardiovascular disease with people with BMI who were overweight.

Diligent cardiovascular training has a lower correlation with the risk of cardiovascular disease even among people who sit a lot. In general, lack of exercise has a higher risk of cardiovascular disease than healthy people.

According to the researchers, the focus on BMI for a healthy body may not be enough. People may be able to achieve the right weight for their size, but if they do not exercise or use a cardiovascular technology program, they may have the same risk as overweight people in cardiovascular disease.
